  • Any protective suits (painting suits work, or the suits that have been provided by FEMA for flood cleanup will work great)

For Homemade masks, please contact Dorothy Bybee, vice president of nursing and patient care services, at or (402) 562-4745. Bybee will provide pattern specifics to CCH standards. Homemade mask donations will only be accepted from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday at the east entrance of Columbus Community Hospitals’ South Campus, 3005 19th St. Donations of elastic for use in the assembly of the masks will also be accepted at this location.


Crete Area Medical Center

Accepting: Fabric face masks.
There will be a donation basket in the front lobby of the Crete, Friend and Wilber Medical Clinics from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. If possible please put your donated masks in a ziplock bag with your name, address, email address and phone number.

Accepting: Homemade cloth masks. Please donate masks that use latex alternatives or tie-backs instead of ear straps.

Banner Health (Ogallala Community Hospital)


  • Masks (specifically N-95 respirator masks, surgical masks, procedural masks) 
  • Hand sanitizer (greater than 60% ethanol alcohol or 70% isopropanol)
  • Homemade masks (for personal comfort use outside of procedure rooms and isolation areas)

To take part, please complete a brief online form . A member of the Banner Health team will follow up with you to gather additional information and coordinate logistics. Please do not bring donations directly to Banner hospitals.


Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital

Accepting: Fabric face masks.
